Agentic AI in Education: Possibility and Practice
Today's educational landscape stands at an unprecedented crossroads amid the rapid evolution of artificial intelligence. While AI of the past merely responded to human inputs as a passive tool, the emerging agentic AI functions as an autonomous agent that perceives situations, makes judgments, and executes actions independently. This transformation is creating profound disruptions across all domains of education, from instructional design and learning implementation to assessment methodologies, and we can no longer regard this as a distant phenomenon.
At the heart of this educational transformation, the Taejae Future Education Forum 2025 seeks to discover new possibilities where technological autonomy and human agency develop, expand, and harmonize together. This forum serves as a global platform for practical engagement, designed to collaboratively architect an educational future where technology and humanity coexist in balance. Moving beyond the binary perspective that separates technology from humanity, we will share concrete strategies and case studies on how to forge new connections between these elements within the unified flow of education.
